Workforce Development Plan
The most vital resource in our business is people. For too long, we have known little or nothing about the qualities, skills or educational qualifications which drive this Industry to the front of the “Industrial Starting Grid”.
Government, Legislators, Educators and Training Providers have done their best to provide what they believe is good for the Industry, its employers and employees. Now, within this Workforce Development Plan, is the detail which will assist these agencies develop a strategy which will result in better education, training and learning. In turn, this will result in a better qualified, more appropriate, more modern and more focussed workforce and the opportunity to continue to develop the competitive advantage of the UK’s Motorsport Valley Cluster.
This is a living document which requires continuous update….the snapshot must become a moving picture and provide this vital Industry with a “road map” which takes us from a predominantly “hobbyist” environment to a recognised, respected and maturing industry.
