This presentation was given by Dr. Roger Davidson of Crompton Technology Group on 18-09-03 during the IP in Motorsport Conference.
The conference highlighted that more and more motorsport and high performance engineering companies are beginning to recognise the benefits of using their IP effectively to secure funding streams, secure competitive advantage and move into new markets. This conference was the first of its kind for the UK high performance engineering and motorsport sector. During the event programme, delegates were introduced to all aspects of IP: what it really means, how to identify it, what costs are involved, how to get the most revenue out of it, how you can protect it, and the value it can bring to your company.
